Description:

The Addiction and Mental Health Worker (Float) position in Strathroy, Ontario is a flexible role that provides support across various program areas at the Strathroy site. The worker ensures clients receive timely care by assisting the service area with the greatest need. This role involves working in different settings, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to seamless service delivery for individuals facing addiction and mental health challenges.

WHAT WE'RE OFFERING:

  • Starting rate of $27.14 per hour with wage differentials for regulated professionals
  • 48 hours biweekly, 9am-4pm schedule
  • 9% in lieu of benefits
  • Immediate eligibility for the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan
  • HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING A DIFFERENCE:

  • Crisis Assessment, Case Management, and Community Wellness responsibilities
  • Service Coordination and Advocacy duties
  • First Contact/Information and Referral tasks
  • WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY:

    Police Vulnerable Sector Check Requirements: Candidates must have a PVSC completed within the last six months.

  • Degree or diploma in a health or social science discipline
  • Valid Driver's Licence and access to a personal vehicle
  • Current, satisfactory PVSC
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work regularly
