Canadian Mental Health Association Thames Valley Addiction and Mental Health Services is seeking an Addiction and Mental Health Worker for their Withdrawal Management Program in St. Thomas, Ontario. The successful candidate will provide crisis management and support to clients in a short-term residential setting, ensuring a calm and respectful environment for all.

WHAT WE'RE OFFERING:

  • Starting rate of $27.14 per hour with wage differentials based on regulation
  • Rotating shifts of days, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
  • 9% in lieu of benefits and immediate eligibility for the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan

    • HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING A DIFFERENCE:

  • Provide client-centered care from a harm reduction approach
  • Engage in community development and program development
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with service providers
  • Facilitate service navigation for clients and provide education and support
  • Participate in team meetings, maintain awareness of policies, and support quality enhancement activities

  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work regularly
