Description:

Our claims management team provides care and support to individuals injured at work. As a Clinical Specialist Nurse, you will collaborate with injured individuals, their families, hospital staff, physicians, and community agencies to create clinical care plans. Your responsibilities will include hospital discharge planning, coordinating in-home care, and providing compassionate support to those in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide urgent response service for serious incidents
  • Develop treatment and care plans for various clinical scenarios
  • Conduct community outreach visits
  • Obtain and interpret medical information
  • Establish professional relationships with healthcare providers
  • Make decisions about diagnostic referrals and consultations
  • Support workers with physical and psychosocial needs
  • Travel frequently and stay overnight on an urgent basis
  • Qualifications:

  • University degree in nursing
  • In good standing with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Minimum of two years of work experience as a registered nurse
  • Valid B.C. driver's license
