Description:

Our claims management team provides care and support to people who have been injured at work. As a Clinical Specialist Nurse, you will work closely with individuals who have suffered serious workplace injuries or been diagnosed with potentially fatal occupational diseases. Your responsibilities will include developing clinical care plans in collaboration with various stakeholders, such as hospital staff, physicians, and community agencies. Your expertise and compassion will have a significant impact on the lives of your clients.

At WorkSafeBC, you will have the opportunity to work remotely and in-office, depending on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide urgent response service for serious and multiple incidents
  • Develop treatment and care plans for various clinical scenarios
  • Conduct community outreach visits to develop home care plans
  • Obtain and interpret medical information
  • Establish collaborative relationships with healthcare providers
  • Make decisions regarding diagnostic referrals and consultations
  • Qualifications:

  • University degree in nursing
  • Minimum of two years of work experience as a registered nurse
  • In good standing with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Valid BC driver's license
  • Before finalizing any offer, candidates must meet legal requirements under the Criminal Records Review Act and confirm eligibility to work in Canada.
