Description:

Our claims management team provides care and support to people who have been injured at work. As a Clinical Specialist Nurse, you will work closely with individuals who have suffered serious work-related injuries or have been diagnosed with occupational diseases. Your role involves developing clinical care plans in collaboration with various stakeholders, from hospital staff to community agencies, to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide urgent response services for serious incidents
  • Develop treatment and care plans for various clinical scenarios
  • Conduct community outreach visits for home care planning
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to assist in recovery
  • Make decisions regarding diagnostic referrals and consultations
  • Support workers with physical and psychosocial needs
  • Qualifications:

  • University degree in nursing
  • Minimum of two years of work experience as a registered nurse
  • Good standing with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Valid BC driver's license
