Description:

Our claims management team provides care and support to people who have been injured at work. As a Clinical Specialist Nurse, you will work closely with individuals who have suffered serious injuries or been diagnosed with occupational diseases. Your role involves developing clinical care plans in collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the well-being of the clients. Your compassion and expertise will have a positive impact on the lives of those you work with.

At WorkSafeBC, you will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, combining remote work with office-based tasks as required by the position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide urgent response service for serious incidents
  • Develop treatment and care plans for various clinical scenarios
  • Conduct community outreach visits to create or update home care plans
  • Interpret medical information and collaborate with healthcare providers
  • Provide information on treatment best practices and make diagnostic referrals
  • Determine workers' eligibility for care allowances
  • Qualifications:

  • University degree in nursing
  • Registered nurse with a current license in B.C.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant work experience
  • Valid B.C. driver's license
  • Before finalizing any offer, you must meet legal requirements under the Criminal Records Review Act and confirm your eligibility to work in Canada.
