Description:

Our claims management team provides care and support to people who have been injured at work. As a Clinical Specialist Nurse, you will work with individuals who have suffered serious workplace injuries or have been diagnosed with potentially fatal occupational diseases. Your role will involve developing clinical care plans in collaboration with various stakeholders, including hospital staff, physicians, and community agencies. From hospital discharge planning to coordinating in-home care, your expertise and compassion will have a positive impact on your clients' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide urgent response service for serious and multiple incidents
  • Develop treatment and care plans for various clinical scenarios
  • Conduct community outreach visits to develop home care plans
  • Obtain and interpret medical information
  • Establish professional relationships with workers and healthcare providers
  • Make decisions on diagnostic referrals and consultations
  • Determine workers' eligibility for benefits
  • Qualifications:

  • University degree in nursing
  • Registered nurse with a current license in B.C.
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in disability management and home care planning
  • Valid B.C. driver's license
  • Before employment, you must meet legal requirements under the Criminal Records Review Act and confirm your eligibility to work in Canada.
