Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is looking for a Dietary Aide to join their Patient Food Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and assembling patient meal trays, ensuring proper dishwashing of meal trays, pots, pans, and other food service equipment. They will support Food Services quality improvement initiatives and communicate any discrepancies with their supervisor, ensuring smooth daily operations.

The role requires strict adherence to food handling, sanitation, and safety standards. Candidates will actively follow department policies and procedures, maintain established hygiene standards, and contribute to a safe and efficient food service environment. Reliable attendance, strong teamwork, and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision are essential.

Qualifications include a minimum of one year of practical experience in a food service environment, Food Handlers Certification, WHMIS training, and the ability to lift up to 20–30 lbs as needed. Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and service-oriented skills, along with the ability to communicate in English, are required for success in this role.
