The Wainwright Health Centre offers a variety of recreational amenities, schools, and health care facilities. As a Health Care Aide (HCA) at the Wainwright Health Centre, you will work in acute care, providing family-focused nursing care within a multidisciplinary team.

As an HCA, you will assist patients with daily living activities, follow care plans, and work closely with patients, families, and caregivers. You will help maintain a safe environment, communicate effectively with health professionals, and observe and report on patient well-being.

    • Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months of hire

  • Confirmation letter from the Directory at https://www.albertahcadirectory.com/health-care-aides/confirmation/
  • Nursing students enrolled in an approved Alberta nursing program with 100 hours of practicum
