Description:

As a Health Care Aide (HCA), you will assist individuals in your community with daily tasks and self-care activities to help them live safely in their homes. The role offers part-time and full-time opportunities with flexible scheduling options, comprehensive health and dental benefits, and various employee perks. You will travel between patients' homes, providing meal preparation, housekeeping, companionship, personal hygiene care, and support for daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to patient homes for multiple visits per day
  • Assist with meal preparation and mealtime
  • Perform basic housekeeping tasks
  • Provide companionship and support patients' well-being
  • Help with personal hygiene care, including showering and bathing
  • Support patients with daily living activities

    • Qualifications:

  • Graduate from a Government of Alberta approved HCA program
  • Willingness to travel to patients' residences within a designated area
  • Previous experience in personal hygiene care is beneficial
  • Experience working with seniors and/or children is advantageous
  • Compassion, listening skills, and a passion for community care
  • Good written and oral communication abilities
  • Availability to work every other weekend
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Background screening upon hire
