Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker will work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator to provide personal care services to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outings
• Shopping and errands
• Medication assistance/reminders
• Ambulation and transporting clients
• Provide companionship to clients
• Follow care plans
• Documentation/charting

Qualifications:

• Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent
• Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Ability to travel within the location territory
• Access to Internet/mobile phone
