Description:

Leads clinical and wellness programs to ensure quality resident care, safety, and overall well-being. Oversees care planning, assessments, staffing, compliance, and wellness initiatives within the retirement home.

Key Duties:

Manage and evaluate resident care plans and health follow-ups

Supervise and train care/wellness staff

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and retirement home regulations

Lead wellness, infection control, and risk management programs

Collaborate with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams

Requirements:

Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) – College of Nurses of Ontario

5+ years in long-term or geriatric care (1+ year in leadership)

Knowledge of healthcare legislation and senior care standards

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
