Are you a physician interested in playing a leadership role to prevent workplace injury and disease in British Columbia? We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Advisor to join our strong team in the Medical Services department. You'll partner with adjudicative staff, occupational safety and hygiene officers, and community physicians to help injured workers in their recovery, rehabilitation, and safe return to work. You'll primarily play a medico-legal role sharing your opinions and recommendations about workers' medical conditions, causes, and treatments. You'll apply academic and clinical knowledge and experience to help injured workers recover and return to work.

Where you'll work: At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines working remotely, and in our offices based on the operational needs of the position. We offer a flexible Monday to Friday work week with a full- or part-time schedule (a minimum of two and a half days per week).
