Qualifications:

Completed Grade 12 or equivalent, Manitoba Standards

Completion of a Medical Laboratory Assistant program

Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) Certification preferred

Experience in a Windows computer environment and Microsoft Office programs

Knowledge of medical terminology and sterile techniques

Keyboarding skills, ability to apply basic math concepts, and follow instructions precisely

Effective oral and written communication skills in English

Ability to work independently, as a team member, and under pressure

Maintain confidentiality and potentially fluent in both French and English

Ability to perform duties as described

Certification/Licensure/Registration
