Description:
Do you have experience providing clerical support in a medical office or healthcare environment and have a good command of medical terminology? We have an opportunity for a medical office assistant to work in the Visiting Specialist Clinic. You'll perform a variety of administrative duties to support the Visiting Specialist Clinic, which offers a range of specialist services to ensure that injured workers are expeditiously assessed and receive the appropriate treatments or service as determined by a specialist. This is a temporary opportunity for 12 months.
How you'll make a difference: You'll build and empower collaborative partnerships that enable resources for workers, employers, health care providers, and other key stakeholders.
Where you'll work: At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines working remotely, and in our offices based on the operational needs of the position.

Our benefits: Being part of WorkSafeBC means being part of a strong, committed team. Along with a competitive salary, your total compensation package includes an extra 4% of your salary in lieu of benefits and 4% in lieu of vacation from the day you start.
Salary: $25.41 hourly
