Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker to join the BC Psychosis Program at UBC Hospital. This specialized program supports individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses who require advanced treatment beyond standard mental health services. The goal is to empower clients to regain independence, improve coping skills, and reintegrate into the community while maintaining a focus on dignity, recovery, and holistic well-being.

In this role, you will provide psychosocial rehabilitation, assist with daily living activities, and deliver emotional and social support to patients with complex psychiatric needs. Working closely with an interdisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and promote recovery through advocacy, education, and therapeutic engagement. Your work will be integral to fostering independence, enhancing physical and mental health, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Social Services Diploma or Health Care Worker Certificate and at least two years of experience in a psychiatric setting. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
