The Allied Health and Rehabilitation team at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre consists of various Regulated Healthcare Professionals focused on evidence-informed practice to provide high-quality patient and family-centered care. The team is undergoing significant growth and offers opportunities for professional development and education support.

We are currently seeking a Casual Occupational Therapist to support acute inpatient needs with potential coverage in the outpatient Stroke clinic. The successful candidate should be flexible, adaptable, and bring a variety of OT-related experiences and skills to the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support adult acute clinical experience in various settings
  • Participate in Professional Development & Education through RVH Education Trust Fund
  • Develop clinical skills within the acute care setting with the support of an experienced team

    • Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program or University with a clinical Master's in Occupational Therapy
  • Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Recent Occupational Therapy experience in acute care or rehabilitation setting preferred
  • Ability to function co-operatively as part of an interprofessional team
