Description:

The successful incumbent will work closely with other members of the Seating Team to provide level B and C seating services in the north area of the Central Zone. This position is based in Camrose, with assessments primarily conducted in the client's local community, requiring travel.

As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will deliver evidence-informed services focusing on occupational performance for individuals, groups, or communities. You will serve as a direct service provider, consultant, educator, or advocate, working as part of a healthcare team. Your role involves enabling meaningful occupations, supporting clients in achieving functional abilities, and promoting independence in various aspects of life.

You will offer a range of services, including triage, assessment, treatment, education, and collaboration with stakeholders in different environments. Clients and families are integral to the care team, participating actively in decision-making and rehabilitation processes. You will engage in interprofessional teams to enhance support and quality improvement efforts, contributing to the professional community and mentoring students.
