Description:

As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will provide evidence-informed services focusing on occupational performance for individuals, groups, or communities. Acting as a direct service provider, consultant, educator, or advocate, you will be a vital member of the healthcare team. Your role will involve enabling meaningful occupations, supporting clients to achieve functional abilities, and collaborating with stakeholders in various environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage individuals, groups, and communities to enable meaningful occupations
  • Support clients to achieve optimum functional abilities and independence
  • Provide comprehensive services including assessment, treatment, and education
  • Collaborate with clients and families in rehabilitation
  • Participate in interprofessional teams for quality improvement
  • Contribute to professional community and mentor students
  • Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants and Aides

    • Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
  • Additional qualifications as required
