Role Highlights

Part-time OT providing school-based services to children/youth in remote First Nations communities

Monthly travel: ~5 days on-site + travel days; virtual sessions 1โ€“2 days/week

Work focuses on developmental, sensory, motor, and functional needs

Deliver care that is culturally safe and trauma-informed

 

Key Responsibilities

Conduct assessments and provide individualized OT interventions

Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and community teams

Offer virtual follow-ups between visits

Maintain accurate clinical documentation

 

Who Theyโ€™re Looking For

Masterโ€™s in Occupational Therapy

Registered and in good standing with COTO

Experience with children/youth in school or community settings

Able to travel monthly to fly-in locations

Strong communication, collaboration, cultural sensitivity, and independence

 

Assets

Experience with First Nations communities

Knowledge of Indigenous wellness approaches

Comfort working in remote/rural environments
