Description:

Perth Community Care Centre is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) who is committed to making a difference in the lives of residents. The ideal candidate will provide personal care, monitor resident well-being, and enhance restorative care to promote independence and quality of life. The starting wage rate is $26.12/hour for this existing vacancy.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance with personal care and activities of daily living for residents
  • Monitor resident well-being and report changes in physical and emotional conditions
  • Document tasks and care provided accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and coworkers
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of the home
  • Assist with meal service and nourishment delivery to residents

    • Qualifications:

  • PSW Certification from a program of at least 600 hours
  • Experience with person-centered care philosophy
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to meet legal requirements and provide necessary documentation
  • Provide proof of required vaccines and undergo TB testing
