Description:

The Pharmacy Technician position involves carrying out technical and clerical functions in Hospital Pharmacy Practice. Responsibilities include drug distribution, inventory control, intravenous admixture preparation, and nonsterile compounding. The technician must adhere to practice standards set by NAPRA and the Ontario College of Pharmacists, collaborating with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to support patient care.

This role will primarily support the oncology clinic, requiring knowledge and competency in preparing hazardous drugs, including IV chemotherapy. The technician may also be assigned to other areas as needed.
