Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is hiring a Public Health Nurse (RN) for its Early Years Program in Richmond, BC. This role focuses on promoting and protecting the health and well-being of infants, toddlers (ages 0–5), and their families through prevention, health promotion, and early intervention services. The nurse will work collaboratively with families and community partners to provide equitable, evidence-based care across a variety of community settings.
In this position, you will utilize your expertise in public health to assess needs, plan interventions, and deliver services such as education, advocacy, screening, and immunization. You’ll play a vital role in supporting early childhood development and reducing the impact of social determinants of health through culturally safe and trauma-informed care. The role requires strong collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and community organizations to improve population health outcomes.
Qualified applicants must hold current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and have recent experience in public health nursing, particularly with prenatal or infant populations. A valid BC driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are required.
