Description:
Nova Scotia Health is seeking a skilled Radiological Technologist to deliver patient-centered care while operating radiological and accessory equipment. The role requires independent judgment, technical expertise, and the ability to perform a variety of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures using ionizing radiation while applying the ALARA principle. The technologist will ensure effective communication in a multidisciplinary environment and foster a culture of workplace safety.

This position may require travel to other sites and involves responsibilities such as prioritizing duties, working independently with minimal supervision, and collaborating with inter-professional teams. Candidates must possess the physical capabilities to perform required duties and demonstrate initiative, organizational skills, and technical comprehension.

Eligible candidates may receive recruitment incentives including up to $10,000 signing bonus and up to $5,000 relocation assistance with a defined Return of Service contract. Certification with CAMRT and licensure with NSCMIRTP is required, and experience with multiple diagnostic imaging modalities is an asset. Competencies in other languages, particularly French, are preferred.
