Description:

University Health Network (UHN) is seeking Registered Nurses to join the team at Toronto Rehab Institute - E.W. Bickle Centre in the Continuing Complex Care & Dialysis department. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with chronic and complex health issues or traumatic injuries. The successful candidate will work in an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients and families.

South 3 is a 36-bed general medicine and Hemodialysis Complex Continuing Care (CCC) inpatient unit at the E.W. Bickle Centre. The team provides 24/7 support to individuals who are unable to live independently due to their health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, evaluate, and coordinate nursing care for patients and families
  • Educate patients, families, and community providers on dementia care
  • Participate in team care planning forums and professional development initiatives
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to students and new staff
  • Ensure compliance with patient safety responsibilities and hospital policies

    • Qualifications:

  • Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
  • Flexible and able to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills
  • BScN degree preferred
