St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton's Charlton Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse for their busy emergency department. The RN will provide patient-centered care and collaborate with the inter-professional team to deliver a full range of care to patients with complex needs. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario required.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide care to patients with complex needs and less predictable outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

  • Strong leadership, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.

    • Qualifications:

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario required.
  • Minimum 3 years of recent related general nursing experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the care of seniors and their families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and patient information systems.
  • Emergency nursing experience and certifications preferred.
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement and professional development.
