This job posting is for a Social Worker position at the Youth Short Term Assessment and Response in Port Alberni, BC. The Social Worker will be responsible for providing assessment, intervention, consultation, and referral services to clients and their families. The role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to address social, economic, emotional, and psychological barriers to care and optimal function.

Travel may be required for this position, and the candidate must have a valid BC Driver's License. The Social Worker will need to have a Bachelor of Social Work degree from a recognized university and current full registration with the BC College of Social Workers. Post-degree preparation in caring for the mentally ill and/or substance use disorders is also required, along with familiarity with relevant legislation and community-based services.
