Description:

As a Special Aide in Patient Food Services at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, you will be responsible for preparing and distributing meals and nourishments to patients, as well as supporting various food service operations. Your role will involve ensuring the accurate assembly, distribution, and cleanup of patient trays, as well as maintaining a sanitary work environment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, food safety training certificate, and preferably a Food Service Worker/Dietary Aide certificate, along with six months of experience in a healthcare setting.

If you possess sound judgment, initiative, and enthusiasm, along with knowledge of food safety practices and effective organizational skills, you may be a perfect fit for this position. You should also be able to interact with others in a mature and courteous manner, work well in a team setting, and handle dissatisfied customers calmly. The current schedule for this role includes shifts on weekdays and weekends, subject to change as needed.
