Description:
Concordia Hospital is seeking a skilled Staff Respiratory Therapist to provide therapeutic, diagnostic, technical, and teaching respiratory therapy services across clinical areas. Under the general supervision of the Manager, the therapist will deliver care consistent with professional standards, supporting patient-centered outcomes while adhering to the hospital’s mission, values, and management philosophy.

The role requires a collaborative approach, working with interdisciplinary teams to assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions. The therapist must maintain proficiency in current best practices, adapt to evolving clinical techniques, and participate in education and training initiatives for staff and patients. Candidates must demonstrate professional judgment, initiative, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

This position demands physical endurance and dexterity, including lifting and moving medical equipment, performing manual ventilation, and responding quickly in emergency situations. Respiratory therapists must also be prepared to work variable shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, while adhering to safety protocols and infection control measures.
