Description:

This job posting is for a Respiratory Therapist 2 position at the Hotel-Dieu of St. Joseph in the Upper River Valley with Horizon Health Network. The job requires proficiency in English and standby on weekends. The Respiratory Therapist 2 will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and monitoring lung disorders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of an accredited training course for Respiratory Therapists and licensed or eligible for licensure with the New Brunswick Association of Respiratory Therapists
  • Must have certifications in ACLS and NRP
  • Ability to attend work regularly and perform duties of the position
  • Good work record

    • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Testing and measuring pulmonary function
  • Assessing, monitoring, and administering respiratory therapies
  • Assisting with airway management and resuscitation
  • Maintaining clinical records and documentation
  • Participating in interdisciplinary care planning
  • Preparing and presenting information and education
  • Inspecting, maintaining, preparing, and troubleshooting equipment
  • Providing mentoring and support for students and other healthcare professionals
